Opel Signum was a D-Segment hatchback, based on Opel Vectra C Caravan and sold during years 2003-2008. It wasn't as successful as Vectra, so Vectra & Signum had the same successor: The Opel Insignia sedan, which was released in 2 generations (1st generation 2008-2017 & 2nd generation 2017-2022). But recently Opel decided to replace in 2024 the Insignia with a crossover model, which will share the same platform with Peugeot 3008, 5008 and Citroen C5X models. That's a great opportunity for Opel to revive the Signum as this crossover/shooting brake/liftback-like thing, based on Citroen C5X!
